Visual Design and Brand Guidelines
I created the visual design and brand guidelines for The Aardvark, a news aggregator website envisioned just for designers.
I explored color, texture, and typography to develop a Style Tile and Brand Guidelines for The Aardvark site. The resulting guidelines were converted to CSS specs for developers.
Before the visual design was perfected, I thought carefully about content and organization. I explored several options and iterated on a grid layout to manifest the appropriate visual hierarchy and user flow.
The goal of the site was to aggregate beautiful, inspiring information in a single place for designers to stay up-to-date on the latest industry news, tools, and resources.
